  4. I do not know where do you live and what is your budget. If you want to visit goa 2 days are enough 1 for north and next day for south goa but if you wish to really enjoy in goa a week even is not enough.

It is one of the smallest state of the Country and three major cities viz. Madgaon, Panaji and Vascodagama (Mormugao Port city) are situated within a radius of 17 km from Kurtalim earlier a ferry point at Zuari river to Panjim but now crossing an overbridge since Chogum convention.

It has no big shopping mall none at business capital of Goa i.e. Madgaon,at political capital i.e. Panjim nor even at Port capital Vasco. Beaches are all aroung goa like BOGMALO near Dabolim airport but very deep and risky and not advisable to enter during mansoon, COLVA close by Madgaon around 6 km, the water here is cristal clear and very flat beach one can walk along and a safe beach, MAJORDA is another beach beside railway track between Madgaon and Vasco, and in north Goa beyond Panjim is Calangute beach which is over-populated and commercial like Juhu in Bombay, BAGA,ANJUNA,WAGATOR known for overnight new year party and many more beaches.

I started visiting Goa since 1976 when the air fare between Bombay and Dabolim (Goa) was just Rs.164/- and since then I have visited Goa for more then 20 times. Iliked Goa one of the most beautiful place in the world and particularly  Goan-people are the best in India quite famous for their honesty, discipline, hospitality and simplicity though their living standard is very good. You will hardly find any goan drunk and lying on the street but if you find some-one must be a non-goan person from other state.

Since you are touring Goa first time, go there after the mansoon and if you wish to multiply your enjoyment tour either with your spouse and if not married then with boy/girl friend. Wish you all the best, BON-VOYAGE and AMUZE-BIYAN.

  5. Goa  is India's smallest state in terms of area and the fourth smallest in terms of population. Located on the west coast of India in the region known as the Konkan, it is bounded by the state of Maharashtra to the north, and by Karnataka to the east and south, while the Arabian Sea forms its western coast.

Panaji is the state's capital. Vasco da Gama (sometimes shortened to Vasco) is the largest city. The historic city of Margao still exhibits the influence of Portuguese culture.

Goa is renowned for its beaches, temples and world heritage architecture.. It also has rich flora and fauna, owing to its location on the Western Ghats range, which is classified as a biodiversity hotspot.
