  1. you can go to travelocity .com

  2. could try in Whitley bay 7-8mile away just get the metro in the morning nexus put extra metros on on that day but i think u will be very lucky to get any where normally booked up a year in advance good luck or u could try south shields that is where the run ends/dont take any notice of that sad mackem david 464 sunderland is a shite hole

  3. There are lots of B+B's on ocean road in south shields, It is also on the main metro line which goes direct into Newcastle city centre within half an hour ( depending on how busy and what time of day you travel) The B+B's are right by the beach and have an abundance of restaurants facing them. The area is also good for nightlife and bars but the B+B's are far enough away for the rowdyness not to travel if that is not your thing.

Oh and its also right at the end of the great north run, so you will be able to crash as soon as you finish!

    Hope this helps!

I have included a link for a range of B+B's in the area.

  4. Sunderland, not far away, is a far nicer place with genuinely friendly people.

  5. The Holiday Inn at Seaton Burn, there's a bus stop into town not too far away. The Roseberry Guest House in Cradlewell/Jesmond, 15 min walk into town or 5 min bus ride. Keep away from the Byker, Walker and West End areas of town x x x

  6. Have a look at Enjoy England's accommodation finder - all results are within 10 miles of Newcastle -

Hope you find somewhere great to stay!
