Roger is one of the greatest personalities in the tennis world, because of what he did in a short amount of time. His greatness lies in the fact that he is:

Wimbledon Champion-  won 5 years in a row, equaled legendary Bjorn Borg's record of 5 Wimby in a row.

Australian Open- won 3 years in a row, and he won one of the Australian Open without dropping a set.

US Open- 4 in a row, which makes a total of 12 Grandslams.

He won 54 singles titles.

He made it to 10 Grandslam finals in a row, which is a mindblowing achievement.

He has maintained his position as no.1 for the last four years.

There are many more records but these stand out making him one of the greatest. Hopefully, we will get to see some more. Go Rogi !

Yay Chris!!!  I love Roger, too; his game and style are amazing. Anyone who detracts from that have no appreciation for tennis.

I hope he beats all of samprass' records and that he wins the French Open and that next year he gets the golden slam. Oh man, that would be so sweet.

What do you want to know? There are a couple of big Federer Fans on this site.  I'm his greatest, biggest, and most enduring fan.

he's the guy whose lucky to be playing in this era against morons like roddick, blake, youzhny, robredo, the biggest of them all davydenko and several others. He only has a few people to deal with who are really good like nadal, nole, murray, etc. Nalby's good too but he loses in earlier rounds. If he played in Samprass' era, he'd win much fewer titles.
