Can any1 tell me more about "the Countryman" Restaurant,in heatfield heath hert nr bishop stortford?

what sort of food they do? is service good? food any good?it's a formal or casual restaurant?

"HATFIELD HEATH" is in Hertfordshire {Too close to Harlow in Essex an area not renowned for fine cuisine}  However there are "Heathfields" in East Sussex and Somerset, which sound a more promising bet !

One mans meat is another mans poison.  It's best you go yourself.  When we're told the food is good etc, and we try out the restaurant, we find it's not what we like, hence the 'one mans meat..........    I would think they'd serve good wholesome cooking and the dress code casual but smart.

We've always found small village restaurants and the service  quite good, as they rely mostly on local clientele and word of mouth.

We haven't been out for a while - I might give this place a try at the weekend if you don't go yourself.
