Question:

Can any1 tell me the problem i have with my washer. the washer is 12months old and it keeps pausing itself.?

today the clothes were soaking wet when i took them out with aload of water still in the drum. could it be the pump ? cant find the filter as this 1 doesnt have one . must be built inside.

  1. its the pump.....we just replaced ours last friday.....we had the exact same problem.....the washer would sound as though it were spinning and it wasnt and our clothes were still soaked....i was afraid we were going to burn the transmission up in it so i called sears out for warranty work and sure enough it was the pump....the culprit? a quarter


  2. might be the hose that's blocked with something, if it is the washer will go into the spin, but the water cannot escape and that's why your washing will still be wet.

  3. check for kinks in the waste pipe. modern washers are prone to pump failure. there may be something jammed in the (pump's) propeller.

  4. SOMETIMES WHEN THE LOAD IS NOT EVENLY DISTRIBUTED THE WASHER WILL SENSE THAT AND KICK OFF.

    MAKE SURE YOUR LOAD IS EVENLY DISTRIBUTED AROUND THE WASHER WHEN YOU LOAD IT!!!
