i don't know what your topic is, but i always find myself writing lyrics about somebody that i care for. for you, you might right about anything. i always found darker/ emo-like poems to be my fav. and sometimes when you are writing think of how it would sound as a song. that might give you some tips on improving word choice and sentence flow. When you are done, send me the poem!

Teen life:

When a person becomes a teen

they start to change

people between the age of 13 and 17

are called teenagers

Some of the changes are good like

being able to drink coffee tea

Some changes are bad

like experimenting with smoking

During the teens life they are still growing

Teenagers are starting high school

which means getting up earlier to be on time

They learn about responsibilities

or suffer the consequences

Its about making decisions

learining to drive

coming home from school

there is usually a mountain ful of homework

On the weekends they might babysit to earn money

Teens learn about budgeting

spending money on what is needed and whats not needed

ive been a round alot of years i wish i could get  to know you

a time you feel hypnotized

nobody knows me im the only one wise

why the fuss to go to school

when all there is are some bullies and rules  

and all i see around me is combats and duels

kicking trash cans yeah we`re acting so cool

skipping math class yeah call me a fool

little giggles with each other are already inside the gutter

the shouts and the curse just keeps getting louder

every hour seems like a challenge of whos got the power

arrogant parents sounds just like a musical verse

words that just repeat over and over

my voice deepens lower and lower

i guess i just need to be a man

and be the one thats not sober
