Question:

Can anybody beat BJ Penn, GSP or Anderson Silva in their respective weight classes?

It seems like these three fighters DOMINATE their weight classes and there is no way anybody can beat them unless they s***w up or somebody else from a higher weight-class drops (or gains) weight to compete in a lower (or higher) weight-class.

  1. GSP and Bj no, Bisping can beat Silva and Wandy could if he moved down.

  2. The answer is no. All three fighters are dominant in the weight class where they are currently champions. Anderson Silve is probably the most dominant out of the 3. I just dont think he will ever lose again.

I would root for Penn, but it would be hard for him to beat GSP. Right now though, BJ should worry about his weight and and defending the title, not fighting GSP.

  3. bj penn pound for pound the best.... he can beat gsp in a rematch he said it best the first time they fought... " i went to the club, he went to the hospital'..... i mean think he is way more dominate now that he is training, look how great he was before he trained...... now gsp is no joke he's a great fighter and if he moved up to 185 he can take the spider with just out working him and holding him down with a nice display of gnp or a submission just can't stand with him!!!... now i think bj penn can beat silva also but the only thing is bj penn is naturally 155 and he can move to 170 but any more i think his head movement is not as quick and his cardio is not where it should be... now anderson silva what a SICK striker!!!!! i don't see anyone in his wieght class beating him now maybe if wanderlei silva or a chuck liddell could get him to move up then we could see someone give his striking a go!!! (or have wanderlei move down... chuck is too big)..... anyway i like huerta but noone can beat penn at 55 sorry people!!!!!

  4. matt hughes and gsp can beat bj, hughes and serra can beat gsp, and hughes could mess silva up when he jumps up to 185. hughes can go where rich franklin can't.

  5. GSP can will be beaten, BJ Penn and Anderson Silva will only loose by a fluke or unless a really brilliant new kind enters the octagon.

  6. anyone can be beat. dont matter how good you are

  7. BJ and Huerta, IMO would be one of the best fights of the year.  Their Styles would just make for such an interesting fight...and i think it could go either way (although i would bet on Huerta) ...i think huerta has earned his spot for a title fight!

  8. f that if someone jumps up a weight to fight the person at the higher weight to begin with should win anyway....you can lose weight and be equal but the better fighter wins. vera could beat these guys...or just have them man up and fight Kimbo lol

  9. All of them CAN be beaten in their respective weight classes.

    Especially penn and gsp.

Silva is pound for pound the best of them.

  10. There's not many that can beat any of those fighters but here is a short list:

BJ Penn can be beaten by:

    (1)  Roger Huerta.  Huerta is very similar to BJ Penn with better kickboxing and excellent sweeps.  This would be a dynamic fight.

    (2)  Tyson Griffin.  More athletic than Sean Sherk.  Amazing Sweeps and at avoiding danger.  Will be difficult to get a take down against BJ and at a disadvantage in striking.

    (3)  Nate Diaz.  I would love to see this fight as Diaz is a pure submission guy and very good in the clinch.

    GSP can be beaten by:

    (1) Jon Fitch.  Uncanny ability to physically control every opponent.  Relentless at going after and securing takedowns.  Excellent sweeps.

    Spider can be beaten by:

    (1)  Michael Bisping.  He looked really impressive in his first bout at middleweight.

  11. i think bj and gsp would be a good match up...as for anderson silva, he's way to dominant in his weight class...i think he should continue to do so...then retire

  12. Well, they have been beaten before, but on the form all 3 guys are on at the moment, it doesn't look likely that any of them will lose again soon. BJ Penn vs GSP would be INCREDIBLE, but I think that Anderson Silva would beat them both.
