Are there any women riders in AMA sport bike racing or World superbike? Who can deny the Yamaha's dominance this year?

  1. All the experts on Y!A who claim their bike is the fastest with no proof don't even watch AMA or world super bike racing. they go to the manufacturer website and compare spec sheets which mean nothing on the road. Yamaha has been on the podium consistently since the 2008 model release no matter who is riding them. That's a "Yammer Hammer" for ya!

Spies is only about 45 points in the lead and his team mate Matt Maladin is no joke. I think Ben's got it locked though. He won 7 straight and got second on the 8th race. Them Zukes are hard to beat. I'm looking for Bostrom to step his game up.

As far as superbike I like the old guy Duhamel. he hasn't been the same since the injury but he'll rebound.

  2. Excuse me Mr arm the homless  Checa and Haga on the Yams in WSB, do you watch it or has Troy Corser suddenly changed teams, perhaps he now rides Checa's Hanspree Ten Kate Honda.

  3. Barring an injury, no one will catch Ben Spies in AMA superbike.  I'll be curious to see what he can do when / if he does make the move to Moto GP.

The AMA is huge, i'm sure there are lots of women sport bike racers on some level.  You may have to look a little deeper in to the local and regional series, I don't know of any in the national series.

Certainly, Valentino Rossi has been tearing it up this year on his Yamaha in Moto GP.  Seems another championship will be coming his way.

The Yamahas of Haga and Corser (thanks Darkstar) have been great in World SBK, but they gotta get by Troy Bayliss on the Ducati.  I don't think they will.

Other than Ben Bostrom in the supersport class, I don't see where Yamaha's have done that well in AMA this year.
