I've been searching forever and the only one i can find is one i already have known for 5 years, and it's a good bit away. I travel by cycling, and I really want to know where some public docks are on the ST johns so i can finally get to some fishin' in my new neighborhood!

All help is greatly appreciated.

  1. Try finding them here:

Just go to the fishing section and click on fresh or saltwater. This will direct you to piers, boat docks and other related info.

    ~good luck catchin'.

  2. I don't know your area, but going by what I'd go by further south on the St. John's and looking at Google Earth (I love google earth) here's my suggestions. (I see a LOT of docks, hard to tell what's public or private, so I'm not even going to go there.)

I'd try the bridge on 220, Park Avenue bridge (That stuff looks like it should be public if it's not...), Castle Point Court looks interesting, but it almost looks like there's something being built there (maybe already built? hard to tell with google earth sometimes) but that looks nice if you can get access, hmm... the bridge on 17 to the south looks nice, too... Old Hard Road looks like it's got a nice little slough... and there's a lot of retention ponds and ditches that look pretty good right around in there, too. Not sure how brackish it is up that way, and I fish more brackish than fresh where I'm at, but I've got good feelings about those spots... I'd fish them if I was up there.

Good luck. You might also ask at a local bait store about public shore access, the guys in bait stores typically know these things.
