Can anybody give me details about the Vietnamese music on Anthony Bourdain:No Reservations Vietnam episode?

There is one point in the Vietnam episode he is hanging out in the village and eating dinner and drinking rice whiskey watching a musical/dance performance (which he later has to dance too). I was trying to find details on the type of music being played (what it was/where I can find more of it/instruments used/etc.). It was highly rhythmic and had two guys strumming guitar-like instruments. Thanks in advance for any help.

  1. Missed that episode, but you could try the Temple of Literature, the water puppet show uses trad music and I am sure that the symphony orchestra would assist you. Failing that why dont you check Anthony's website?

    Good luck

PS Was in Vietnam.....music lovely, people lovely!
