Can anybody give me some basics on football?

I just joined my junior football legue and i haven't played before.any advice?

Definitely, get Madden 09 when it comes out or any Football game for that matter you will learn while you play trust me and watch Plenty of NFL

The Biggest thing about football is "wanting it more" than the other person..

Knowing The rules and regulations. will do you no good, if you don't go out there and play, with everything you have. Its tough sometimes, you will be tired.

Keep at it.. from your first play to your last give as much as you can, and you'll see the difference between you and the person your going up against. Offense or defense.. or maybe both, whatever you'll be

Just go out there and play, hard, run fast and [if] you're tackling someone, do it in a way everyone around you will get excited about.

The coaches will take care of teaching you.

Football is just as much mental.. as it is physical.

If you want it mentally, you'll do it physically
