I need plans or some type of creative play for my Toddlers. They are between 1 and 4. I am currently working at a daycare center, but i have run out of ideas, can anybody give me any ideas or suggestions?

  1. While structured activities are great for toddlers, they also need some room to be themselves. Try letting them create their  own play area in groups. Allow them to decorate, build(with blocks or sheets for tents), and let their creativity take over. Let this be their own project, don't try to control them, but help them where help is needed. Allow them to choose games to take into their area, but make sure that no one child is left on their own. They will learn to cooperate amongst themselves. It is more fun than a craft for them, and the less structured activity will take more time, so you don't need to stress about creating new projects all of the time! Let them be theirselves for a whille! I wish you the best of luck with your preschoolers, they can be a handfull!

  2. Some sites I usually use for information and inspiration  are:

    www.childcareland.com

    www.drjean.org

    www.perpetualpreschool.com

    www.littlegiraffes.com

Most of these sites are preschool or kindergarten focused but can be adjusted to fit the ages of your kids

  3. What about including creative movement and dance in the classes. I hope that I helped you out a little.

  4. Check out childcarelounge.com or everythingpreschool.com
