If he is alive and well then its considered unethical, his personal information is private we would be violating his privacy, and here in the *GENEALOGY FORUM* we generally search for dead ancestors.

One thing you can do is to run a quick Google Search on him.  You would be surprised what comes up if you only run your own name!!  

If you have his full name than you can also use the internet to check for a telephone number and address.   You can call information and see if they have a listing for him.

Check with your relatives and see if there is any address for him.  You could address a letter to that last address, perhaps the post office will forward it on for you.

Your relatives may be able to give you names of his friends or other local relatives who can help you.
