Can anybody help me with my computer?

Question

My computer will not play regular store bought DVDs. Is there something I can buy or download so I can play movies that I bought?

Awe, the terrible life of PC's that don't come with all software expected.  macs don't have this problem.  Yes you can buy or possibly download a free DVD player from the net.

try out the 321 player and APPLE MEDIA player fro playing u r movies

try downloading Zoomplayer and it will download all the codec u need to play the dvd and any movie. after the codec  installed open zoomplayer and push F10 and it will take u to DVD mode

The guy below me is an idiot Mac is no better then PC they both have it up and downs. They beat each other more like 50/50 draw. U say mac dont have that problem and also yall claim mac dont get viruses but guess wat pal yall do get viruses

Are you certain it is a DVD drive and not a CD drive installed? If it is a DVD there should be preloaded software to play movies.(Windows media player at least). If not on the computer you should be able to download from microsoft website.
