  1. They way you have it written is pretty accurate. It's a sentence so it'll be a combination of hiragana and kanji.

    You could also say:

    彼女は星みたいである。

    There are also other ways of saying the same basic thing, but I tried to preserve the form of your original sentence as much as possible. It's pronounced、"Kanojo wa hoshi no yo de aru".

  2. 彼女は星〔スター〕のようです

    kanojo wa hoshi {suta} no you desu

    pronunciation is easy. continents stay the same, but use the Spanish vowels.

    A  = short 'a' sound

    E  = long 'a' sound

    I    = long 'e' sound

    O  = long 'o' sound

    U  = short 'u' sound

  3. Star as in celebrity, or star as in those things in the sky?

  4. You can tell you used an online translator because it gave the verb "de aru"

    Aru is for inanimate things.

    She is a star, "Kanojo wa suta ru."

    彼女はスターる。”

    Star in the sky is "hoshi"

    Kanojo wa hoshi dayo.

    彼女は星だよ。
