Sometimes, when I'm just about to go to sleep I lie down and the room sort of starts spinning when I close my eyes. I open them and well the room is spinning and I can't focus on just one thing. Is anything wrong with my eyes?

  1. Definately see a doctor. Check with your primary health care provider first. He/She can refer you from there. It could be your eyes, but then again, it could also be something neurological.

  2. Maybe and Maybe not it could just be your mind or somthing  but i would have you go to the doctors and see if they do anything.

  3. This sounds more like a problem with your inner ear and semi circular canals.  Some people develop positional vertigo (get dizzy when they have their heads positioned in a specific location) and this can cause symptoms like you describe when you lay you head down to sleep.  One way to test this possibility is to compare how dizzy you feel when laying on your left ear compared to the right.  If you are dizzy when you lay on one ear and not the other then this pretty much means you are having a problem with your inner ear.  I would recommend going to see an MD who specializes in the ears.
