Can anybody help us??

My friend and I (both males) came to Washington, DC all the way from Turkey for the program called Summer Work&Travel. We are undergraduate students in Turkey and now holding a J1 visa which authorize us to work anywhere in the US until 30th of August. We are now unemployed and will be homeless too in few days.We are urgent need of a job and a room/house for both of us.We'r looking for employment and rental/sublet in DC, Northern Virginia, New York City and parts of Maryland close to DC. Anybody can help?? We may work at restaurants (not in kitchen), retail stores as a cashier or sales associate or even stock helper, parks, ice cream shops, anywhere.Pls help!!

I would suggest that you contact St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Dupont Circle, in D.C.  There is a Homeless Program there called "Charlie's Place" with resources that could help in your situation. The number is 202-232-3066.  Good Luck!!!!
