  4. No. It is a burial ground, but it also has a mosque, a guest house for dignitaries and an extensive garden.

    It was build by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife as a symbol of this Love.

    The white marble mausoleum is her shrine. He had planned on building the same for him but in black marble and on the other side of the river but one of his sons, named Aurangzeb, decided otherwise! He emprisoned his father in a small place nearby from where he could admire his life's work while he, the bad son, spend all the family money and killed most if not all his siblings.

    While it is extremey beautiful, I wouldn't want to live there. Too many bad vibes surrounding the place.

    So no, nobody can live there although, if you want to live nearby and on the same premises, you can always open a shop for tourists.

  7. It's a TOMB... was built by the Shaw J'Han for his wife... NOBODY lives there except maybe grounds keepers and security personnel
