Can anybody name some famous good guitarrists..?

im taking guitar courses in school this year...and right now i just feel like i have to listen to a guitar song...like the only thing its playing is the guitar and the guy singing a song... i love the guitar but oddly i dont know many famous guitar players...so if you can just tell me some of them...cause i just need to hear some mellow nice songs...

also name of the songs would be awesome too...thank you dudes, and dudettes! lol
