  1. me and my son, my son mostly is answering you this question, He is 20, Yes I suggest that you have the children sing a special song that they learned through out the year, and have them pick out what they learned and what they want to sing,, For example, Have Brian or Johnny pick out their favorite song that they usually sing to and tap to, Have them sing it out , like the Barney song, or the wheels on the bus go round and round, and have the kids sing one  by one by one, and have them as they are singing go down to the aisle and go up to their parents  with a nice carnation, to the mothers, and the next and so on, I think that will be soo cute

  2. I know when I was in elementary we did a patriotic theme.  You could have the kids write their answers to what it means to them to be an American and you can have the best answers read between songs.  We sang America the Beautiful, The Star Spangled Banner, This land is your land, etc.  It's easy to decorate for too.

  3. The seasons of the year is always interesting-all the different clothing, activities, food, holidays, and of course the weather.

  4. Do something from one of the children's favorite books like "there was an old lady who swallowed a fly." Or "where the wild things are."

    Or do a Disney theme.

  5. Maybe since the end of the year will be close to summer, a summer themed concert with songs about the beach or baseball.  Summery type things.

  6. underwater theme.

have them dress like a fish or in blue

    or turqoise

  7. I think wizzaed of oz would be cute good luck =)

  8. How about a zoo theme or barnyard theme.  There are a ton of songs out there about animals and the kids probably already know most if them.

I think a circus theme would be really fun but songs might be harder to come by.

  9. Do lilke a crazy theme and do the hokey pokey , chicken dance and maybe the bunny hop

  10. Animals would be a good theme because there are so many fun and easy songs, also, they probably already know most of them.  The costumes are also pretty easy to make.

  11. mabey little red ridding hood or a musical

  12. u can try trip around the world. where diff performances that portray either a dance or a song of diff countries complete with costumes. we did a theme of the rolling good times before too. it was a blast with the kids dancing in different rock and roll clothes and hairdos..

  13. Getting Ready For Kindergarden / Look How Much We've Grown!

  14. This is looking ahead... once you've figured out your theme, here are a few places to look for song suggestions:

    Jim Gill http://www.jimgill.com/

    Greg & Steve http://www.gregandsteve.com/

    Preschool websites organized by theme:

    http://www.preschooleducation.com/

    http://www.perpetualpreschool.com/

    http://www.everythingpreschool.com/

    Kididdles http://www.kididdles.com/

Plus consider using "pop" songs that contain you theme and have the kids do motions or dance along with the song.

  15. Maybe under the sea or atropical theme would work.if not then go with the old fashion cartoon characters.

  16. Dr. Suess is always fun, or Nursery Rhymes... there's lots of possbilities with those two themes
