  1. Computers tend to put emphasis on the value of pieces verses space/development/etc.  My advice would be to play this to your advantage by sacrificing pieces for different types that a human would know better than to accept.  Also, try to keep the game closed with many pieces on the board during the middle game because the bigger the number of possible moves the better the chance you have as the computer must calculate every single move.

  2. Most chess games have an Undo command, use it.

  3. Once you determine how many moves it 'thinks' ahead of the game then you can go that one or two moves more ahead . Good luck for it can not always be done - ask Kasparov when he beat Big Blue and later Big Blue the supercomputer beat him !

  4. I was wondering the same whenever I played chess against Fritz11. I think beating computer is not very easy.

The great world champion Capablanca once commented that he never looked ahead--that he simply chose the best move. This was an exaggeration, but one thing is true: When you get good at chess, you know when you are following the "thread" of the game. When you can sense what's important, you can play intuitive moves and see your way through all kinds of tactical complexities with surprising accuracy. That's one way humans beat computers at chess. On the other hand, when a player hesitates and seems confused, he or she has usually lost the thread, and will have to rely on pure calculation. That's when humans lose to computers, as well as to other humans.

  5. The strong programs such as Fritz can't be beaten at full strength these days. Even World Champions are struggling to beat them now. On most good programs you can set the computers playing strength level: Fritz has "moron", "patzer", etc. On other programs you can force the computer to move very fast which weakens it a little. Then you can enjoy a game against them. I'm a tournament player. I hardly ever play against my program. I use it to analyse and record my games, and for its large database of games. Its a tool.

  6. Be smart.

  7. play in easy difficulty

  8. By beating it.

  9. the most simplest way is to use undo command (if there is) if there isn't you really can't have a simple way... just think slowly(unless you have a time limit) and stay calm.
