  1. like everywhere else fresh produce is quite pricey but less so then in Europe and America.  A big weekly shop for a family of four is probobly going to reach the late $100's even $200 but there are bargains to be had at the Queen Vic Market (in the city) and farmers markets. Petrol is really expensive now about 160-170 cents a litre though.

depending on where youre coming from Australian food is generally quite a bit cheaper then overseas.

  2. Anything specific you want to know the price of? (this is all is aussie dollars)

    Petrol $1.60/litre

    Tin of Tuna $3.20

    2L of Coke $2.50

    Chicken $9.00/kg

    Oranges $1.50/kg

    Potatoes $1.80/kg

  3. this site will have everything you'll need, it's the leading supermarket in oz

    http://www.coles.com.au/

and click on the coles online or one of the shop online links and you'll find all the prices

    this is also good
