Can anybody plz help me from a big virus caught in my PC?

Question

My PC got like a virus problem from a software which gives false alerts and acts like a antivirus. The software was installed automatically when I went to a website mistakenly... My actual antivirus couldnt heal the virus in my PC. Now I have three new files in my desktop which are- "Privacy Protector", "Spyware & Malware Protection" and "Error Clearner". Now there are many problems caused such as - in My Computer, the virus made the C: hard drive to be hidden where there are folders such as Windows, Program Files, etc. I also cant access to Program Files which is in the Start Menu and the virus also removed the LogOff button from the Start Menu. So I just want to know how to make the C: Hard drive unhidden, make Program Files and the LogOff button visible in the Start Menu and also delete the software which is the virus from my PC....Plz Help....!

download the trial version free

boot ur system in safe mode and then scan ur comp with it

this is far better than AVG, NORTON, McCAFEE etc.

A very good, free anti-virus available to download is AVG 8 Anti-virus:

And for any spyware problems, get SpyBot - Search and Destroy:

Both are free, as powerful as paid programs, like Norton and McAfee, and don't use up as many resources.

Just boot into Safe Mode (Press F8 when turning on the computer) and run full scans.

ok if u can open your web browner or inertent explore try to download avg free and spybot i think you have spy ware

spyware can slow down your computer and gave u pop like that c**p

Firstly, antivirus programs will NOT pick these up as they are malicious codecs.

Solution:

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

Download, install, update and select Quick Scan

Download & update Super Anti Spyware then run a full scan. After this download the following

http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-set... again update & run a full scan & follow the instructions to their conclusion. I suspect you have a rogue virus which is doing the rounds. Its probably to get you ultimately to buy some security software.
