Can anybody predict the markets tomorrow, i.e., Tuesday?

I have bought 100 shares of Sterlite Optical @Rs 172! What level should I expect it to reach tomorrow?

Tuesday & wednesday

BSE will stay range bound +/- 100 points

NSE will also stay range bound +/- 30 points

However, it will fall on Thursday. May pick about 250 points on Friday, if there is no new trigger.

Sterlite is not a stock which follow- the markets. It's a good long term buy. Stay invested for at least 3-6 m to see some sizable movement.

The idea that a bell rings to signal when investors should get into or out of the stock market is simply not credible. I don't even know anybody who knows anybody who has done it successfully and consistently. Yet market timing appears to be increasingly embraced by mutual fund investors and the professional managers of fund portfolios alike.

There's something in people, you might even call it a little bit of a gambling instinct!...I tell people That investing should be dull. It shouldn't be exciting. Investing should be more like watching paint dry or watching grass grow. If you want excitement, take $800 and go to Las Vegas.
