  1. there should be an adult education center where you can take classes that will help you get your GED

there is i think 2 of them where i live

i live on the east coast

  2. Houston dropout skool

  3. God has lead me to this question. I work for HISD. There are so many programs that you will be able to get your, not GED ,a diploma. There is nothing free. I think you should go to a high school in your area. We start (staff) back on the 11 of Aug. Go to the office of the high school and take your papers showing the completed grade level. If you have a dis-ability, you can go to school until you are 22. Do not worry about vanity(age). You have your whole life ahead of you. Food for thought. You can enter the Houston Community College System and get your GED in the morning and register for college courses in the afternoon.  Houston Can is another vehicle to help you. If you have issues, class c mis. , do not worry about that, there are many programs that will help you. If your father was military, there are scholarships at your deposal. Would you believed , there are million of dollars given back to the country because people do not know about the monies out there for students in your position.

Once in school, it is not easy. It is difficult. Life is difficult if you do not have education. Stay focus and take a path that you will like to use as a vehicle to easy street. I took my masters degree in the military with a family, working with cilivians and my soldiers. If I can do this with all the problems   in my life , such as facing retirement, cilivian life is a new life after serving in the military for 21 yrs. Being a mover and shaker (senior sgt) and now a regular person is hard to adjust to. This is liken to you going back to school.

  4. ooo that was a bad choice buddy. Never drop out in the beginning of highschool or middle school w/e

    Good Luck :)

  5. I'm not trying to be funny, but go to college.

Most college level students don't have much better than an 8th grade education anyway.

An adult GED class will probably catch you up enought to go to most colleges and universities in this country.

  6. call the houston independent school district. they have  a huge program for dropouts. i don't know if 18 is too old, but I don't think so. they can probably refer you somewhere if they can't help.
