i have a current events paper due tomorrow and i don't feel like looking it up.

In Australia, the minister for climate change a Ms Penny Wong is acting like there's no such thing as climate change from CO2.

Her most vocal endorsement of AGW came when she said "We will be congniscent of the science".  I don't even know what congniscent means and I don't think it comes up enough to be worth looking up.  

Anyway she's an interesting choice for climate change minister by the government being an relatively young Asian L*****n former activist.  No-one can accuse her of not being left wing enough.

Coral bleaching, glaciers melting, irregular rain patterns (some areas get too much rain and get flooded, while others get extremely dry). There are lots more, but I'm lazy as well :p

Today's L.A. Times had 2 global climate change articles. "Electric utilities waging a power struggle: New rules to contain greenhouse gases could shift cost burden to public agencies and ultimately customers," and "A global warming calamity is building in the Himalayas."  Take your pick.
