Hi

I graduate in a couple of weeks in Paris and we want to go out in the evening to celebrate. Can anybody suggest a good Paris Champagne bar and a restaurant.

Thanks

  1. You should go to Le Concorde La Fayette

It is way up high, so you can get a great view over the whole of Paris - At midnight the Eiffel Tower has a fab light-show so this is a great place to watch from. It is very private and the lighting is low, so is very Romantic too.

  2. Any good bistrot.

  3. If you travel by Euro-star from St Pancras to Paris, there is the longest champagne bar in Britain, if not Europe. You can start your celebration before checking in and boarding the train. Or, continue when you return.

If you want to celebrate in real style and money is no object, Maxim's of Paris is the place to go. Look at their website, www.maxims-de-paris.com

More realistic, and also stylish is the Terminus Nord at 23 Rue Dunkerque, just opposite the Gard du Nord. This restaurant also has elegant decor, smart waiters and excellent food, including fruits des mer if you like it. This is my favourite celebratory restaurant in Paris, at least until I win the lottery and can do Maxim's justice!

Congratulations, are you OU? Enjoy the celebration and the rest of your life.
