  1. none do since the concord went out./down... all fly 600 or less

  2. Nope. sorry, I cant do that because... there arnt any. the Concord could go alot faster then that... but then they took it out of service.

  3. technically spaceship two is a commercial aircraft that travels faster that 800mph but i dont think you can buy a ticket yet.

  4. The Anglo-French Concorde and the Russian (Soviet) Tupolev 144 both were able to fly at supersonic speed 1,400 miles per hour at cruising speed.

Both are out of commission now though, so currently there is no commercial airliner capable of over 800 miles perh hour.

Most commercial jets fly at about 800 to 900 kms per hour (500 to 570 miles per hour).

  5. All current airliners are subsonic, meaning that they cannot travel faster than the speed of sound, and their maximum speed is expressed as a fraction of the speed of sound, rather than a specific number of miles/kilometers per hour, because the speed of sound varies with atmospheric conditions.  Under normal conditions, the speed of sound is always below 800 mph, so airliners cannot travel at 800 mph.

  6. The only commercial passenger jets capable of supersonic flight were the Concorde and the Tupolev Tu-144. Neither one is currently in service.

  7. Anything that can is out of service and already mentioned here. I only knew of the Concord.

  8. 800 MPH is faster than Mach 1, the speed of sound.  There were two supersonic airliners in the past, the Concorde and the Tupolev 144.  These were not commercially practical, and have been retired from service.

The fastest any commercial airliner now travels is about 580 MPH.
