Can anybody tell me about working in turin, italy or just working in italy in general?

I am considering going to turin, italy on a study abroad program and i would like to work there. I am trying to find out if the local business owners will hire a foreigner and how the italian work system is?

  1. I have many friends in Italy.  Usually foreigners will have a more difficult time finding jobs.  Torino...which is in the north have considerably more jobs in the south which is why southerner always go north for employment...so you'll be competing with the natives from places such as sicilia, napoli, etc. etc.  there's a blog called expats in italy on blogger.  They have lots and lots of information for you.  The most popular jobs for foreigners are as language teachers, e.g. teaching english to italians.  Hope it helps.

    find a work it's hard but you can ask for a program of study here, like the erasmus...you'll get easier a job...
