Can anybody tell me any legend of bacolod city?

There really isn't all that much on the internet.  There was a reference to a concrete jar where the legend of the city's name is immortalized on google, with a link to a page where that phrase does not appear at all.

only province

there was a guy named baco who is crazy in love with lodi

their parents are against their love, so they elope

on a tragic accident, they died.

on that very day, everyone who cross that place feels itchy or "makati"

so they called it "makati" city
