  1. Snowfall pretty low all over Europe . i hear the  Southern Alps has just got some .

    Nothing in Austria though !

  2. There is snow in Niederau at the moment, but it's going to be quite warm for the next few days, so it will be green in the lower regions of the Wildschönau within the next week. Skiing up in the mountains probably won't be a problem unless it's going rain a lot.

By the way, Austrians normally speak English, especially in the skiing resorts, in all hospitals and shops. And if they don't understand you, they still try to be helpful.

  3. neidero doesn't exist

    check out:

    or

    (all in german, sorry)

  4. Austria is a very small country wedged between, Italy Germany, Hungry etc.

At this time of the year like rest of the europe, Austria is very cold

Niederösterreich is north part of Austria and its about 0 to 8 degree Celcius ( that is 32 to 48 F)this time of the year. Its been raining all week and the last week but there is a lot of forecast for snow.

depending on where in the region you are going, higher you go colder it may get.

If you are planning to go there, beware of the languge problem, europeans aren't very warm to speaking English!

you can see the weather on each of these cities on

    http://weather.yahoo.com/regional/AUXX.h...

  5. 3.1 cubic miles.

  6. niederau (think thats how you spell it) is a ski resort so go on if you ski.com and click on snow reports or go on bbc worldwide weather website and type in the nearest big city (probably the airport) and that will give you the most reliable report.

  7. Well, part of Austria is the Alps, so definitely there is snow in Austria, and a lot of it. I guess it depends on what time of year you go. I was caught in a blizzard in the Austrian Alps in April traveling from Vienna to Insbruk and Salzburg. It was snowing in Vienna in April when I got there, and was snowing, or was very cold the entire time I was there. So, unless you go in the summer, definitely be prepared for that possibility. As to how much... again, it depends on what time of year. In the winter there is a lot!
