Leo in the 9th house makes a person very opinionated and fixed in whatever area the 9th rules.

This type loves adventures of life and travel may be one of their favorite pastime. Leo loves art, beauty and take great pride to share any of their experiences with others.

This type is a 'show and tell". Higher education is approached in much the same way. This type has to watch not to take too much pride in their personal knowledge as it tends to be self-centered.

Mercury in 9th Leo urges one forward toward the expansion of their mental horizon. This is not the most practical position for Mercury for it indicates the mind of a philosopher who may easily develop into the 'absent-minded professor'.

Saturn on the other hand, may indicate difficulties with teachers and religious figures.  It makes a person thrifty in their travels, conservative, with a practical philosophy toward life.

On a contrary note, this position , if well apsected, makes this tpye , a good and patient teacher.
