Can anybody tell me what your adoption certificate is suppose to look like 1969-1970?

my biological brother and i were suppose the be adopted 3 years apart in different cities in texas 1969-1970 the problem is that why would they both look like a bad copy not the original one. can anybody tell me what the certificate is suppose to look like. both of ours are dark black like they have been badly copied, and if we were adopted 3 years apart why do they look idenitcal? if you were adopted in1969 or 1970 in texas what does your certificate look like. it also turns out we may be fraternal twins please help us find the truth. thank you

Well, we would have to know the state of the b.c for one.  And what do your parents say?  Or other family members you are close to?  You can also request a new copy of your b.c. although it may look different new.  You can also request copies of your original, or even adoptive papers if you are over 18.  What is your age and state.  I'll see if I can help.

i was born in  October 1969,and adopted in May 1970. i never got to see my original birth certificate,even though i tried for years(i was born in NY)  even though i now know my birth mother ,i still can't get hold of my birth certificate,i have always gone by my "adoptive one". must be different in texas.
