Can anybody tell me which opera these lyrics belong to?

It's sung by a woman, I think it's Italian and the last words translated are " Forgive me please my father, oh please, forgive me". Thanks for your help, it's driving me mad. x

It is O Mio Babbino Caro, from Gianni Schicchi by Puccini.  The words to which you refere are Babbo, pieta, pieta.  She is cajoling him about letting her marry who she wants.
