Question:

Can anyone HELP with iTunes?

Something is wrong with my iTunes, and I'm scared to plug my iPod in because it might mess it up.

Basically, all of my songs are still there, but they are spread out. They are no longer grouped by CD, but all just floating around randomly. I have it set to "view by album", so they should all be together. There's a picture below.

I tried restarting my computer, but that didn't help. What's wrong? Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do? Will plugging my iPod in mess up my organization? Because everything HAS to be organized. If it isn't, I think I'll go insane.

This is an example of what it looks like:

  1. the reason why it's like that is because you have selected "Name" at the top and all of your songs are in alphabetical order and it is only focusing on the name of the songs that are in your library. so all you have to do is select "Album"

    here take a look.

id you want to change the way they look all you have to do is change it with the little squares that are next to the search bar.

  2. You see the 3 little buttons to the left of the search bar. Click on the one the the left of which one is clicked on now. That will fix it.

  3. ok... next to the search engine in the top right hand corner, there are three little boxes. click the one with three lines on it... maybe that will work??? if not, then idk.
