Can anyone answer my curiosity? its about marriage!?

what i wanna know is what you think about a female asking a male to marry her? is it right? why or why not? and for those who are married how was it when he or she asked you or when you ask her or him? how long had you been with ur wife or husband before getting married?

I think its okay for a female to ask male to marry her. My best friend asked her husband to marry her and they had been together for 6 months. They are still married. :-)

I am more traditional. A man offers the ring of engagement to a woman, and I think the man should be the one to propose.  I feel that if a man wants to marry a woman, he will do whatever he has to do to make it happen.  If a woman asks, even if he says yes, won't it feel like a let down? It would for me. Many women dream of the big proposal.   When my husband proposed to me it was the most romantic moment of my life, and we had been together for 4 years.  We were engaged for 1.5 years before we got married. Both of us had been hurt in the past and wanted to take things slowly.

It's weird for a female to ask.

It was about 3 years. Length of time will depend on how old you are. If you start dating at 18, you could easily date for 5 years. If you are 29, then perhaps 1 year is enough.

For me it was somewhere in between... being 2 years. The person is either right or wrong for you. You should be able to decide that in 2 years. If not, then move on.
