Can anyone answer this question for a first time renter

Does it cost money for someone who calls you to remove the septic tank if they call you about to setup an appointment

I think I understand what your saying. Someone called you about removing a septic tank. Yes, it will cost. I don't know of anyone who would do it for free. This is something you need to have them contact your landlord about. You really can't make the decisions on the property as far as removal of something like that. Hope this helps.

If you are a renter, the septic tank is the landlords expense.

They will call the tenant as a courtesy.

You'd be upset if they just showed up without warning and began to

"rape and pillage" your site.

Do check with the landlord to be sure that he ordered the work.

Tell them to call your landlord, or get their phone number and give it to your landlord.  When anyone calls you about any kind of improvements, have them call the landlord.  Let them know you don't own the property, so you have no say-so in any decisions.  It makes it easy for you.  :-)
