I am not good with math and I was wondering how many times I would need to fill up my gas tank if I was driving 1913 miles. Here is some info: I drive a 2008 G6 Sedan, has a 12 gallon gas tank and gets a good 30 miles to a gallon on hwy, can drive on average 340 miles to one tank of gas.

  1. A little over five times. 5.6 to be exact

  2. 5.6 tanks of gas required.

  3. 1913 miles divided by 340 miles per tank = 5.6 tanks of gas required.

  4. One, it is going to take over 30 hours to get there if you average 60 miles per hour . Two, at 30 mpg, you are going to need about 64 gallons of fuel at $5/gal = $320 for fuel . (Plan on $5/gal - if it's less, you have more money in your pocket.) . As a rule, try to travel during daylight hours . Plan on stopping about every 4 hours for fuel or roughly every 250 miles . This will pretty much make sure that you have at least 1/3 tank of fuel . I usually fill up when I get around the 1/2 mark, which coincides with a meal or freshen up break . Take your time and enjoy the ride.

    All the best.

  5. you get 28.33 MPG.

cost @ 4$/ gallon is $270.00,   thats good!  my jeep would cost 382$!!
