  1. I believe number 5, 6, and 7 are wrong.

    5.  Yuki says that the style of the boots is in fashion.

    Here is the contradicting line:

    ともみ:ああ、このコート 前から ほしかったの。どう?

    ゆき:うん、とても いいわねえ。これ、今年のファッションよ。

Tomomi was on the subject of the coat, and asks, "How is it?"  Yuki answers, "Yes, it's very good.  This is this year's fashion."  Assuming that she is most likely still on the subject of the coat, as she responds that the coat is "very good".

    6.  Tomomi is not sure she can afford both a coat and a pair of boots.

    Here is the contradicting line:

    ともみ:そう、でも、ちょっと 高いなあ。ブーツも ほしいから・・・・・・。

Tomomi states that "Yes, [in assumed response to Yuki's "This is this year's fashion."] but it's a bit expensive.  I want the boots so......"

    7.  Tomomi and Yuki will go to the footwear department, then return to the coat department.

    Here is the contradicting line:

    ゆき:じゃあ、ブーツを 見ましょう。それから、もう 一度 ここに 着ましょう...

Yuki states that they will go see the boots, then the will come back here again.

It is safe to assume that they are still standing in the coat department.

    Tai 「たい」

Tai means that the person wants to do something.

    For example:

    I want to see snow.

    I want to eat lunch.

I want to go to Tokyo.

    Good luck!!

  2. If you're really interested in improving your Japanese then you should do your homework yourself instead always coming to YA and asking people for answers. Everyone makes mistakes. Do the best you can on your homework, turn it in and let your teacher explain any questions you might have gotten wrong. Otherwise, you'll never learn anything and you'll always be coming to places like YA looking for short cuts.

  3. Questions number 5,6 are wrong.Because number 5 Yuki says that coat is in fashion.Number 6 she is not sure that she can buy both or not.So my idea I think should be true.

    Can you speak japanese well.?

    This is tai form explane from me because I know japanese;

Tai form is using for when  you want to do or is using for when  you want to do or want somethings。

(I want to go to the supermarket)

we have to erase ます and add たい to the verb.

for if you want something we can you 欲しい and no need to add たい。

This is all from me.Any question please ask.

  4. I'm afraid that four of your answers are wrong.

Since it's your homework, why don't you correct by yourself?

If you read carefully you would find out the right answers!

    Ganbatte!

  5. 5 is wrong. Yuki says the style of the coat is in fashion.

7 is also wrong. The last sentence states that they plan to return to look at coats.

"...tai" means "I want to...". Examples (in hiragana):

= I want to talk with my friend(s).

= I want to swim at the pool.

= I want to go there.
