Can anyone confirm these rumours?

A Tesco Extra is to be built in Kilmarnock in 2009 in place of the boarded up old ASDA?

The existing little Tesco in the town centre will then be knocked down in place for an extra campus for the college?

I've heard this from friends but I can't find any official source on it.

Yes, this rumour is true, in fact i am invovled in this scheme. We plan to build a new Tesco but not a Tesco Extra. The new campus is set to be great. There will be a common room fo every year group between the existing building and the new campus.
