i need to know in Germany, 69 is which city's code and which telephone operator's series start with 6610 in germany?Are there total of 8 digits iin Germany's phone number?

German phone numbers go this way:

When dialling from another country, you will have to add the country code +49.

When dialling from within the country, you will have to add a 0 to announce a long distance call, followed by the area code, like 69, which is for Frankfurt, 89 which is for Munich, 30 which is for Berlin, or 941 which is for Regensburg (Ratisbon). The smaller the town gets, the longer the area code will be; mine is 9943.

After that, you simply add the number you want to be connected with, which can be something between 3, 4 or up to 8 digits.

You usually can't be trapped by an 0800 or 0900 number when calling from a foreign country, as this gets blocked by the telcos. Just be aware that when calling someone back on his mobile, the number usually starts with (0)17 instead of an area code, and you may be charged higher fees.
