  1. I can. It's danced usually to a jig. with four people opposite four at a time.


  2. this is a typical irish group dance , with four people facing each other . two and two . it is very easy as it repeats itself . i have competed in competions in this dance it is great fun , hope you get to dance it sometime ( other dances are walls of limerick and lanigans ball. )

  5. It's a generation knowledge gap, it's the Siege of Venice or did the previous generation get the pronunciation wrong and you are right? Any way I don't know how to dance it,I'm from Scotland.

  9. Yes I can.  It is one of the easiest Irish dances, and they play it at most ceilis.  Pretty simple and it repeats over and over again, but you dance each set with different partners.
