a law is one set my the state or the big chief in Washington which means everybody, like set belts all state enforce it

if broken u will be punished

like school rules...u get detension

if u break a law its breaking a rule of life so u get punished much much more

its to stop crime

like stoping bad bahavior at a camp or at a school like i said
