I would love to know how the "Find a Yahoo Group' search function works. What is searched? Is there any way to limit the search to just the title of the group? How long after creating a new group should it show up in the group search? What determines the order of the search result? Is there any way to change the order e.g. list groups with most/fewest members? list newest/oldest groups? most activity/least activity? public/members only? Is there any way to add keywords to a your group to increase likelihood of it being found on a search?

  1. recently, there is no rhyme or reason to the search groups function as to their results, or the ordering of groups. key words to the category of your group should work, but for many it just doesn't and who really knows why. the ordering of the search results are as you see it, there is no options like you're asking for, either.

    sorry
