I don't quite get how to conduct battles in the game. That's about it actually. I just don't get the combat phase of the game. If anyone can explain it to me, that would be great!

  1. Take a look at the Battle Board. See the silhouettes of the units? Okay, now line up the units according to the sihouettes: the attacking side on offense and the defending side on defense. Now the attacker rolls for the "ones" (if any). For every "one" rolled, the other side will have to lose a unit. Now, the "twos." Each time a two or less is rolled, the opponent loses a unit. Do the same thing for the "threes" and "fours."

The opponent repeats the procedure. Now, only after both sides have completed rolling do both sides take their units off the battle board. If one side is eliminated, the other side may move into the territory after all the other battles have been fought.
