It is said that operational amplifier has infinite input impedance. But if it is so then how it amplifies the signals that are applied to the input? Because

infinite input impedance means no voltage can pass into it ( i think). please answer this question!!!!

  1. wrong. Infinite input impedance means no current will flow. In reality it is not infinite and a small current does flow. It can be in the fA region for a very good amplifier.
