  1. Your decanate of your Ascendant is based upon the degree that Pisces Ascendant is in -- In your case it's 8 degrees and that would be the first decanate of Pisces. So, the meaning of decanates is just another recipe used in horoscopes to give you an added sense of the quality of a particular sign, Decanates are separated by 10 degrees..so if you were (Pisces) 1st decanate you're born in the decanate of Pisces, if you were 10-20 degrees it would be (Cancer), 20-30 degrees (Scorpio) -- It's a form that I believe was initiated by Alan Leo, but it has little significance -- and is another technique that rips the chart to shreds - however, in some cases decanates and dwads may be helpful, for instance in reading twins born at the same time. But it's really up to the astrologer as to if it's necessary or nor. I don't use them, unless the client has time for such deciphering.

Some astrologers believe that when you are born within a certain degree you take on the qualities of that decanate.

It's a nice touch but it's not a major interest in comparison to aspects. And..aspects do not have to predict challenges -- it's usually the cycle that transiting and natal planets have in common while the aspect is the peak or climax...quite frankly...it's when things reach a culmination.

Conjunctions are the beginning Squares are challenges

Oppositions really are challenges too, but also endings.

Everything has a beginning, middle and end, and oppositions are those mirrors in life we find ourselves up against. It's basically gone as far as it can. Squares almost always hit you from the side, you didn't expect but you had a feeling something might be coming up you'd have to deal with. I can't go into the details of your horoscope but you certainly can make contact with me for more info.

Planets indicate your drives and ambitions and when placed in signs especially by conjunction and in major aspect either natally or by transit are the primary focus in the chart.  I'd like to go into further detail but I've some reading that I have to do. I hope I helped somewhat.

To give you an indepth reading (personally) on this message board would certainly take some time. However, I would assume one of your interests right now involves love and a certain someone's honesty, as well, your work issues.  You may contact me for confidential info.
