  1. 1) Subumit an application online at geico.com if you do not have computer access GEICO will have a computer set up at the office for you to submit an application.

    2) Schedule a time to come in and test. You must be early or you will be marked off for being late. The test consist of the following; typing, reading comphrension, and multitasking. Depending on the job you may also take a grammar test.

    3) If you pass ALL the tests a recruiter will interview. This may be the same day as the test if the recruiters are not busy. Generally it is schedule for another day. Again you must arrive early or you will be marked off. Dress professionally as this is also considered. If the recruiter thinks you did well in the interview you may be asked to fill out a short character evaluation sheet. This includes questions like ..... "How do feel about making personal long distance phone calls from work? A) It is okay if you don't do it everyday ....etc" If you do well the recruiter will invite you back for another interview.

    4) Make sure you arrive early for this interview, it could be the last one. At this point you are no longer interviewing with the recruiter but the person who ultimatley makes the hiring decision. You will also be asked to sit and observe someone doing the job you applied for. Sometimes people sit for a couple of hours. After observing you will either know yes or no. It also gives you a change to decline the job if it is not a good fit.

    5) Once you get an offer your credit, criminal background, and a hair folicle test (drug test) will be run. If they are successful you will be scheduled for a start date.

It is the most grueling and drawn out interview process I have ever been through. They need to stream line it more.

If you are ever told we will contact you, it means you will get a letter in the mail saying you were not selected for employment.
