Can anyone explain why the media is so obviously liberal?

There are plenty of biased media outlets... I think the reason that most journalists might be more liberal is because of the Watergate Scandal. Remember how Nixon threatened the lives of journalists and tried to cover everything he did with lies after lies? I think there is still a lot of resentment in the journalism field towards republicans because of that.

It depends on what you watch. Like I always get the feeling Fox is bashing LIberals. And you're right. I remember hearing CNN wouldn't let Scientists against Global Warming voice their concerns. But hey you can shut off the TV anytime.

I think Repugs do it to themselves. They are in the business of selling television, not promoting a liberal agenda.

If the Repugs say something appalling and offensive (which they do a lot) then the media is going to pounce on it.

People are insane if they think the media is liberal, I don`t buy it. They are for hype and any bad news they can dig up on anybody regardless of political association. I`ve heard crying from all sides. Get a grip and quit blaming each other. The media doesn`t care about you unless you give them high ratings when they are competing against each other. That is why they have their own rating system. Newscasters have lost their jobs because of this fact, and guess what they didn`t care if they were democratic or republican. Give us all a break and go cry in your room where we can`t see you. This moderate conservative knows better!

Yes it's ridiculous!  I can't even watch any of the main stream media any more.  Only Fox gives both sides.  And the liberals can't watch Fox.  It's kinda funny if it wasn't so sad!

Surely, that is an easy one to answer. Are they pro-abortion; are the media pro-g*y/lebian marriage and other anti-moral guidelines? The media is composed of anti-moral and no right or wrong intellectuals. This is why they wanted Bill Clinton to sign a U.N. proposed document suggesting that parents are world parents and the U.N. has every right to tell you how to raise them! They do not even know the real Al Gore or what is murder in Sudan or an internal affair! Bill was going to sign it.. after all, his daughter was Liberal and that means, to him, they did a fair job raising her! Notice the media attention on her and we NEVER heard a bad thing.. we are sure she had many more than Bushes daughters, but we never heard! We can also look at the "oral is not s*x" scandal.. That is what it ended up as, and our teen girls suffered for it and still do! Heck, there is no right or wrong with the media and if you are for right or wrong.. you are insane or lack knowledge, according to them!
