Can anyone figure out what my daughters blood type is based on mine,and her fathers?

My daughters doctor wont type her blood,no matter how many times I ask him.He doesn't think its important,and I do.So I am left to trying to guess,I went online trying to figure it out,but all I have learned is what blood types can receive blood from each blood type ect.

My blood type is B positive & her fathers blood type is O positive.

first of all, get rid of your doctor! how dare he not do something that is so simple and safe to ease your concerns (no matter what they may be). second of all, by using the ABO typing method, your child's blood type cannot be guessed to be exact without a blood test, but the only POSSIBLE types she could have are B or O. now go find another physician! :) (the person who said its one of four combos is just flat-out wrong)

If you really want to know, then take her to a lab and request it get done.  It might cost you some money (pending where you live) but if it means that much to you, then do it.

Why is this a concern??  If she were injured, they wouldn't ask you what it is...

There's no way to figure it out that way.  It could possibly be 1 of 4 combinations...

Alright so the way I figured this out is Punnet Squares, they help you figure out genetics. So when I made the Punnet square and did everything I guess your daughter will have either B blood or O blood. But you might actually want to consult another doctor about it. This is just my hypothesis.

Usually it will be the fathers that the child will get but this is not always.  The only real way to know for sure it to call the dr and ask if they have it on record or make an appointment and ask them to do a blood test so that you can find out the blood type.

the pediatrician will not have it tested... but if you have to take her to a LAB they will be able to do the test. i am not too sure if they charge more, but either way you can ask them.  but really it would not be a wise idea for any of us to try and guess what her type is.... expecially since the father is 0+.... sorry.

u may get her blood type by going to the hospital where she was born and asking for her medical records.... because they had to have done her first blood test to check if she is well and not contaminated with any illnesses do to blood .... good luck if u need more info please ask.
